Appointments Policy

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life and are happy to honor your business as follows. If there are any health issues present at the time of your scheduled massage that might make massage a bad idea, including fever/cold/flu/sickness, please contact us BEFORE arriving for your massage. If you are pregnant at the time of your massage appointment, please contact us BEFORE arriving for your massage. Please plan to arrive at least ten minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to ensure a full massage session. If you are late you may not receive your full time.

Booking Policy

Clients must book with correct personal information. So, if you are booking an appointment for yourself, put your info in and if your booking an appointment for someone else please include the correct info or you will be subject to a $10 filing fee.

Rescheduling policy

24-hour advance notice is required when rescheduling a massage appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. Since all massage services are by appointment only, a major credit card is required to hold your appointment. If your appointment is not reserved with a cc it can be canceled any time for other clients. You will not be charged until massage services are rendered, unless you fail to cancel before 24 hours and/or no-show (see below) your appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged a $25 to $35 fee.

No-shows

Anyone who fails to show up for a scheduled massage appointment will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged the full amount for the missed appointment. If your credit card is not on file you must pay the remaining balance to receive any further service at Highlife Massage.If your payment is with Groupon/LivingSocial your voucher will be redeemed at the time of the violation.

Inappropriate Behavior Policy

Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full-service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited we may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary. Treat your therapist with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return. Thank You.-Professional Draping will be used during the session – only the area being worked on will be uncovered. Please do not try to assist your therapist while draping is taking place, your movements could cause accidental exposure and, or incorrect draping so please just relax.

Minor Release

-Clients under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the entire session. Informed written consent must be provided by parent or legal guardian for any client under the age of 17.-
